Is There a Future for Indigenous People? The Application of the Ethnography Future Research to Assess the Indigenous People Sustainability

This study explored possible scenarios for the future of Indigenous Peoples' sustainability linked to SDGs goal elements by applying Ethnography Future Research (EFR) synergized with methodologies. The applied interview techniques, storytelling, and sharing-talking circles collect data, involved 31 selected informants representing social segments Serawai, an People in Bengkulu Province, Indonesia. employed domain, taxonomy, componential, cultural themes analysis. research findings showed that EFR combined indigenous approach can identify comprehend indicators People. were obtained through formulated participants including optimistic, pessimistic, most likely scenarios.
